Creating a fund on Bold.org allows you to raise money specifically to support a scholarship. Funds act as a pool of contributions that can be used to launch or grow a scholarship over time, making it easy to involve your broader community in your impact.

Funds are created alongside a scholarship and can serve as the financial foundation behind it.

To get started, you'll submit a proposal outlining your fundraising goals. Our Donor Team will review your submission and guide you through the next steps.

Before proposing a fund, you'll need to create a donor account. If you haven't signed up yet, Get Started Here.

During sign-up, you'll answer a few questions to help us understand your goals. After verifying your email, log in to access your donor dashboard.

From your donor dashboard, click Create a Fund in the top-right corner. This will guide you through building your fundraising page.

Tip: Before submitting your fund, take a moment to clarify your goal and story. Funds with a clear purpose and strong narrative are often more compelling to potential contributors.

Unlike scholarships, which involve a more hands-on review and setup process with our team, funds are designed to be launched quickly. We aim to preserve your personal voice so your fund feels authentic when shared with your friends, family, and broader community.

Most fund pages are reviewed and published within 24 hours, so you can begin sharing and raising contributions right away.
