Once your scholarship draft is approved, you’ll publish it by confirming your award details and funding the scholarship. You can fund via ACH, credit/debit card, donor-advise fund, or fundraiser credits at checkout.
Your scholarship will go live as soon as the donation processes:
Credit/debit card + fundraiser credits: typically within the hour
ACH bank transfer: 3–5 business days
Donor-advised fund: 5-12 business days
You'll received an itemized email when the donation is complete and confirmation email will notify you when applications are open.
Step 1 — Open Your Scholarship Draft
Log in to your Bold.org Donor Dashboard
Select Review Proposal on the scholarship you’d like to approve
Click the Publish Scholarship button at the top of the page
Step 2 — Set Awards Details
Choose:
Number of winners
Ranked winner structure (optional)
Award amount per student
Winner announcement date
Make sure everything reflects how you want funds distributed.
Click Continue to move forward.
Step 3 — Support the Bold Foundation (Optional)
You’ll have the opportunity to add an optional, tax-deductible contribution to the Bold Foundation to help power the operations behind your scholarship.

The Bold Foundation donation is an optional, tax-deductible gift that supports the operations behind your scholarship — things like application review tools, compliance, secure disbursement, fraud prevention, and student support.
