Step 2: Notify Us About Your Donation
Once you've mailed the check, please notify us so we can process and acknowledge your donation. You can email us at donors@bold.org with the following information:
Scholarship or Fund Destination: Let us know which scholarship or fund you’d like to support with your donation.
Anonymous Donation: If you’d prefer your donation to remain anonymous, please indicate this in your message.
Email Address: Confirm the email address where you’d like us to send your acknowledgment letter. This is especially important if you're emailing us from a different address.
Optional Display Name: If you’re not donating anonymously, tell us how you’d like your name to appear (organization, family, or individual name).
Optional Message of Support: Feel free to include any additional comments or words of encouragement you'd like displayed on the scholarship or fund page.

Should I use a specific mail carrier to send my check?
We recommend using a carrier that offers tracking to ensure your check arrives safely. Bold.org is not responsible for checks lost in transit, delivered incorrectly, or affected by carrier issues.
How is my check processed once received?
Our small-remote Donor Team uses Earth Class Mail to receive and sort mail. Once your check is delivered and scanned, we'll notify you. The check is then sent for deposit, and our accounting team finalizes the donation. After processing, the donation is credited to your account or fund. We’ll keep you updated throughout the entire process.
