Contribute directly from your donor-advised fund (DAF) on Bold.org using DAFpay, powered by Chariot. This method ensures your DAF contributions are processed automatically and recorded in the Bold.org system.

1. When you're ready to fund a scholarship or make a donation, choose the “Pay with Donor Advised Fund” option during checkout.

2. Click the blue “DAFpay | Donor Advised Fund” button to launch the DAFpay process in a popup window.

3. Select your DAF provider, enter your login details, and submit your donation.

4. Once your donation is submitted, you'll see a success message on Bold.org, and a receipt will be emailed to you.

Note: We’re set up with EFT for most major DAF providers, and processing times vary based on each provider’s approval and review process. If you’d prefer to make a direct donation from your DAF account, you can use these directions and our EIN: 84-2719715.

DAFpay supports giving from over 1,100 Donor Advised Fund providers, covering nearly the entire DAF market. This includes major DAFs like Fidelity, Vanguard, Schwab, and National Philanthropic Trust, among many others. DAFpay's extensive network ensures donors can contribute from virtually any DAF account to their chosen nonprofits efficiently and securely.

Bold.org does not charge for using this feature. However, Chariot (which powers DAFpay) charges a 2.9% + $0.30 processing fee for facilitating DAF donations, similar to a credit card transaction.
