You can now support scholarships and funds on Bold.org by donating cryptocurrency through Endaoment. Follow these steps to make a secure crypto donation:
Step 1: Make Your Donation via Endaoment
Click the "Donate to This Nonprofit" button to open the secure donation form.
Choose your cryptocurrency from the list of supported options: including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and many ERC-20 tokens.
Enter the amount you'd like to donate, and optionally, view the USD equivalent for clarity.
Follow the prompts to complete your donation using your digital wallet.
Once your donation is processed, Endaoment will convert your cryptocurrency into USD and transfer it to Bold.org. You’ll receive an email confirmation along with a tax receipt for your donation.
Step 2: Notify Us About Your Donation
After completing your donation, please notify us so we can properly process and acknowledge your contribution. Some of this is available for us in the grant letter we receive from Endaoment but if it's important to you to be acknowledged properly email donors@bold.org with the following details:
Scholarship or Fund Destination: Let us know which scholarship or fund you’d like to support.
Anonymous Donation: If you’d prefer to remain anonymous, please let us know.
Email Address: Confirm the email where you'd like your acknowledgment letter sent. This is especially important if you're contacting us from a different address.
Optional Display Name: If not donating anonymously, share how you’d like your name to appear (organization, family, or individual).
Optional Message of Support: Feel free to include any additional comments or words of encouragement you'd like displayed on the scholarship or fund page.

Yes, Endaoment will email you a tax receipt once your donation has been processed. This receipt can be used for tax purposes, as cryptocurrency donations are typically tax-deductible. If your grant from Endoament contains your personal information or you email the Donor Team, you’ll also receive an acknowledgment of the donation from the Bold Foundation.
4. How will Bold.org acknowledge my contribution?
If you'd like to remain anonymous, you can choose not to contact us in Step 2, and your donation will be processed without acknowledgment. However, if you let us know via email, we can properly account for your generosity and send a personal thank-you, along with any updates related to the scholarship or fund you supported.
5. How does Bold.org receive my donation?
Endaoment converts your cryptocurrency donation to USD and transfers the funds directly to us. The donation will then be applied to the scholarship or fund you selected during the donation process.
