After your scholarship onboarding call or any subsequent proposal discussions with the Donor Team, your scholarship draft will be sent to our Writing Team. They’ll craft and configure your scholarship vision, bringing your idea to life. Here’s how you can access, review, and approve your scholarship draft.
Step 1: Access Your Scholarship Draft
To view your scholarship draft for the first time:
Log in to your Bold.org Donor Account.
Navigate to the Donor Dashboard.
Click the "Review Proposal" on the scholarship to open the draft page.
Step 2: Review Your Scholarship Draft
Once you open the draft, carefully review each section:
Title: Does it capture the spirit of your scholarship?
Cover Photo: Make sure it reflects your vision (see customization options below).
Eligibility Criteria: Review the requirements for applicants.
Scholarship Description: Ensure the wording aligns with your goals.
Essay Prompts (if applicable): Confirm that the essay questions ask what you'd like to learn about the applicants.
Step 3: Submit Feedback or Changes
If you’d like to make any adjustments:
Use the submission box at the bottom of the draft page to submit text changes or email your dedicated Donor Relations Manager.
To update the cover photo, email the image to us at donors@bold.org. The ideal photo size is 800px by 600px.
Step 4: Approve Your Scholarship & Fund
Once you're happy with the draft:
Reply to our emails to let us know if you approve of the scholarship draft.
If everything looks good, we'll proceed with the next steps, which involve donating or fundraising.
Click "Fund the scholarship" at the top or bottom of the page and follow these directions to publish your scholarship. During this step, you'll also be able to adjust the number of winners and the award amounts if needed.
