If you're ready to create a second scholarship instead of renewing your existing one, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Log in and Submit a New Proposal
Log in to your Bold.org Donor Account. Once on your Donor Dashboard, click “Create a Scholarship” in the top-right corner.
Navigate to the proposal flow, just like with your first scholarship. You'll need to provide the new details for your second scholarship, such as the scholarship name, award amount, and eligibility criteria.
If you need guidance, refer to these directions for proposing a scholarship.
Step 2: Proposal Review
Once your proposal is submitted, our Donor Team will review it. While there is an option to schedule a meeting with us to discuss the proposal details, it's not required unless you'd like additional guidance. We’re always here to support you throughout the process.
Step 3: Draft Review
After your proposal is reviewed, our writing team will create a draft of the scholarship. You will receive the draft for review to ensure it aligns with your vision. Once you approve the draft, you'll move forward with funding the scholarship, just like you did with your first one.
For more help reviewing your scholarship draft, refer to these directions.
Why Start a Second Scholarship?
New Scholarship Name: If you'd like to name the scholarship after a different honoree or for a new cause, creating a second scholarship is the best option.
Updated Eligibility Criteria: If your goals have evolved and you want to target a different group of students or set new eligibility filters, starting a second scholarship allows you to tailor your impact to these changes.
Creating a second scholarship is a fantastic way to expand your support and align with new goals. If you need any guidance, feel free to reach out to the Donor Team at donors@bold.org—we’re here to help every step of the way!
